I used to love this show

Longtime yoga teacher Lilias Folan, who introduced thousands to the practice through her long-running PBS TV show, passed away on March 9, 2026.

Lilias, 𝘠𝘰𝘨𝘢, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘠𝘰𝘶 was one of the most successful programs in PBS history, making yoga accessible decades before at-home practice became common.

She’s remembered for her approachable teaching style, clear instructions, and ability to make an ancient practice feel relevant to contemporary life in the 1970s, when yoga felt out of reach for many Americans. Her lessons will long be appreciated.

I met Jenny another teacher today too! Love the vibe at this club!

I can feel and see myself changing. When I sit in the present I enjoy the moment and forget about the before and after.

It’s an honor and a privilege to be able to guide group yoga classes. The energy that is built with that first group deep breath in and out, then cultivated throughout the practice, the meditative state of savasana and the yoga bliss that results always brings me awe and inspiration. To not be attached to the outcome but enjoy the building of the flow brings me (and hopefully) the class vibrantly into each present moment. And the next, and the next and the next…. Each one cherished for it’s beauty and uniqueness.
It gives me delightful chills everytime. .classes .beaverton
