Baes,
I absolutely LOVE photographing flowers 😍 And while I don’t know much about them, here’s a few of my favorite “superpower” fun facts from each flower I photographed today:
🌸 Hydrangea: has the ability to naturally change color depending on the environment (soil acidity)—a reminder that conditions shape expression.
🌻 Sunflower: has super nutrient-dense seeds that support energy, muscle function, and recovery! It has lots of vitamin E and is also super fun to eat 😋
🌺 Hibiscus: large hibiscus flowers can grow larger than a dinner plate (I’m pretty sure the one I saw today was pretty close. Generally, hibiscus promotes heart and blood vessel support, making it a favorite for overall wellness (typically consumed as a tea in the US).
🌼 Bitter melon: is actually a fruit that grows on a flowering vine in the cucumber family. Rain releases aromatic compounds and it’s absolutely delicious 🤤
It has the nickname “nature’s insulin” in some traditional medicine systems because of its potential effects on blood sugar.
🌹 Chinese Rose: Omggg.. such a mood-lifting fragrance and antioxidant-rich petals that nourish both skin and spirit 😌 also yummy as a tea that supports relaxation and digestion.
