Why is NETRF's mission more important than ever?

Scott Oakes, MD, of the University of Chicago says it best: NETRF doesn't just fund research. It builds the community that makes breakthroughs possible. Researchers, clinicians, patients, and supporters are all working toward one purpose: to create a better future for those living with neuroendocrine cancer.

Your support keeps that community going. This June, every gift will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $100,000*, thanks to the generosity of NETRF Board Member Steve Kaufer.

We're very proud to share that the President of our Board of Directors, Josh Mailman, was recently recognized as Honorary Fellow of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI). He is the first non-physician to receive this honor.

Josh is a leading voice in neuroendocrine cancer patient advocacy. We're grateful that he has been on our NETRF Board for many years, in addition to his work with SNMMI.

Congratulations Josh, and thank you for all you do for the neuroendocrine cancer community!

Tijana Jovanovic-Talisman, PhD had spent years studying neuroendocrine cancer when the disease hit home: her mother was diagnosed with small intestinal neuroendocrine tumors. Now as a caregiver, she turned to NETRF for trusted information and support.

"That experience gave me a real appreciation for what NETRF does for patients and families."

Today, Tijana is a NETRF grantee, working to develop a simple blood test that could detect neuroendocrine cancer earlier.

Inspired by her family's experience, Tijana is turning personal experience into scientific progress.

This June, you can help advance research like Tijana's. Thanks to the generosity of NETRF Board member Steve Kaufer, every gift will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $100,000.*
