🧡 Orange shows support for the cause and a vision for the world without Alzheimer's

This weekend, our team got to walk alongside hundreds of people proudly holding their flowers whilst raising money for Alzheimer's research at the 2026 Triangle Walk to End Alzheimer's, where our owner Tim acts as 2026 Chair of the Executive Leadership Team.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, dedicated to raising awareness, encouraging education, and honoring victims of abuse.

At Hallmark Homecare of North Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, we are proud supporters of Kiran, a North Carolina nonprofit committed to empowering domestic violence victims and survivors within the local South Asian community. With a focus on culturally specific services and comprehensive resources, Kiran is on a mission to help end the cycle of abuse.

In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness month and in support of the amazing work that Kiran is doing, we wanted to share these beautiful photos from the Kiran Gala, where Hallmark Homecare of North Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill acted as a Silent Auction Sponsor.

Today we honor World Alzheimer’s Day and the millions of individuals and their families Alzheimer's has affected 💜

Last week, our team attended The CART Fund x Rotary Club of North Raleigh benefit night, where we saw so many great community members come together to raise money for this incredible cause.

As homecare matchmakers, we see firsthand the profound effect that Alzheimer’s can have, and endeavor to meet all families with grace, compassion, and understanding of this unique condition.

In the words of Hallmark Homecare of North Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill’s owner, Tim Leow, who chairs the 2026 Triangle Walk to End Alzheimer’s, “On World Alzheimer’s Day, we owe every family more than awareness: we owe them dignity, support, and an unwavering commitment to finding a cure. This belief is exactly why I am proud to volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association and work continually towards a safer, more understanding world for them.”

Today marks the 48th National Grandparents Day.

National Grandparents Day was signed into legislation in 1978, and was created to:
🪻 Honor grandparents
🫂 Give them the opportunity and reminder to meaningfully connect with their grandchildren
🗝️ Remind children of the key role that their grandparents play in their lives

47 years on, Grandparent's Day remains important reminder of the love and appreciation that we should all reserve for the grandparents in our lives 💙
