Thank you to the founder of our wonderful yearly community event - Michelle Marlahan! She is well known in the Sacramento Yoga Community and teaches in the It’s All Yoga virtual studio.

Created in 1999 in Austin, Texas, Free Day of Yoga spread across Texas to Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Victoria, Katy, and, and beyond the Texas borders to Beckley, WV; Los Angeles, CA; Philadelphia, PA, and even as far as Guam! The event started in Sacramento in 2012.

The schedule for the Sacramento Free Day of Yoga has been updated today! The event is held Monday, September 1, 2025. There will be more updates provided throughout the week and the weekend before the event. There will be so many classes to choose from in Sacramento, Yolo and Placer counties!
