Today is World Su***de Prevention Day.

Sometimes the people who are struggling the most are the ones who have become very good at saying, “I’m fine.”

Today is a reminder to look out for one another. Check in with the friend who has been quiet. Make the phone call. Send the text. Listen without judgment. Remind someone that they don’t have to carry everything alone.

A simple conversation can mean more than we realize.

At Lion Heart Behavioral Health, we believe in creating a community where asking for help is met with compassion, understanding, and support.

If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis or having thoughts of su***de, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

💛 Today and every day let’s look out for one another.

September is National Su***de Prevention Month.

In 2024, an estimated 14.3 million adults in the United States seriously considered su***de.

Behind that number are real people—friends, family members, coworkers, neighbors, and loved ones who may be struggling more than we realize.

This month is an important reminder to check in. Listen without judgment. Take someone's struggles seriously. And remind the people around you that asking for help is a sign of strength.

At Lion Heart Behavioral Health, we believe no one should have to navigate their darkest moments alone. Support is available, and there is hope beyond what you're feeling today.

If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis or having thoughts of su***de, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

💜 You matter. Your story matters. And help is available.

September is National Recovery Month.

This month, we celebrate every person who has chosen recovery, everyone taking their first steps toward change, and the families, friends, professionals, and communities who walk alongside them.

Recovery doesn’t look the same for everyone. It can mean rebuilding relationships, learning healthier ways to cope, finding stability, rediscovering purpose, or simply making the decision to try again today.

At Lion Heart Behavioral Health, we have the privilege of seeing the strength behind recovery every single day. We see the hard work. We see the setbacks and breakthroughs. And most importantly, we see what’s possible when people receive the support they deserve.

To everyone in recovery: your journey matters, your progress matters, and your story is still being written.

And to anyone wondering whether recovery is possible for them, it is.

You spend so much time worrying about them. Who’s supporting you?

When someone you love is struggling with addiction or mental health challenges, it’s easy for your own needs to get pushed aside.

Our Family Support Program meets tonight and offers a place where you can talk openly, connect with people who understand, and gain tools for navigating the challenges your family may be facing.

You don’t need to have the right words. You don’t need to have everything figured out. Just come as you are.
