Earlier this week, Assistant District Attorney Amanda Wilkins joined Dr. Samuel Williams, Mr. Tommy Watson, Mrs. Abby Greer, Mrs. Diane Strozewski, and Mr. Todd Roberts for a district-wide Truancy Committee meeting focused on supporting student attendance and success.

The committee continues to meet regularly to review attendance trends, discuss challenges, and collaborate on strategies that help keep students engaged in school. By working together, educators, community leaders, and the District Attorney's Office are committed to encouraging regular school attendance and helping students build a strong foundation for the future.

Thank you to everyone who continues to invest their time, leadership, and dedication in supporting our students and strengthening our communities.

Our team recently attended The Wellspring's Multidisciplinary High-Risk Team Training hosted in Rayville (and we were so focused, we completely forgot to take photos! 🤦‍♀️📸)

The training focused on ODARA (Ontario Domestic Assault Risk Assessment), providing valuable insight into assessing risk in domestic violence cases and strengthening collaboration among agencies that work to protect victims and hold offenders accountable.

We appreciate The Wellspring Alliance for Families for hosting this educational opportunity and for their ongoing dedication to strengthening our communities through advocacy, education, and partnership. Training like this helps ensure we continue providing informed and effective service to the citizens of the Fifth Judicial District.
