Grieving a lost friend, a dead dream, an unmet expectation are all tough processes we walk through. But what about grieving something that never existed? An idea we thought would happen but no one else co-signed onto?

Maybe we painted a picture with people in our minds that things would play out a certain way but they never agreed to that. Then what?

These topics are touchy for a reason. The emotion behind them is real. And if you’re carrying it, we’d love to encourage you with this conversation. 💛 the full chat is linked in our bio or at YouTube.com/

When we slow down long enough to be with ourselves, we might be shocked at what comes up - and maybe what comes out. Tears? Yeah, they are telling you something.

“If your tears could speak, what would they tell you?”

Potential can be something we grieve in our lives, but what if there is a pattern of potential we grieve? There could be more to that there.

“What doesn’t complete will repeat.” Wise words from Rebekah in our heart-conversation where we talk about grieving things that are alive. When we discuss grief, we often think of things that are dead - but what about relationships, expectations, realities? Those things are necessarily dead, so what does healing look like?

We’ve curated an incredible conversation to bring as much value to any hurting hearts out there and we are excited to share this with you and see it encourage you and give you the resources you need to move forward.

Grief doesn’t just live in your memories… it can live in your body.
In this clip with Karen from , we talk about how unprocessed grief doesn’t simply “go away”. It can get stored, held, and carried in ways most people never realize.

This isn’t always about losing a person. Sometimes it’s the grief of change, identity shifts, endings, or versions of yourself you had to let go of.
And if it never gets processed… it doesn’t disappear. It just finds another way to stay.

There’s a kind of grief that doesn’t come from death… but from change.

In this clip with Karen from , she speaks about something most people don’t have language for yet: grieving the version of you that no longer exists.

Even when the change is chosen (quitting smoking, leaving a relationship, outgrowing an identity, breaking a habit) it can still feel like loss. Because what’s unfamiliar can feel like absence. And what’s no longer part of your life can still be deeply emotionally real.

We don’t always grieve people.
Sometimes we grieve parts of ourselves.
And that deserves to be witnessed too.

Episode drops Monday.
