Adult ADHD + faith feels a little like this 😅

Open tabs in my brain. Half-finished tasks. Random overstimulation. Forgetting why I walked into the room… again.

And honestly? That’s why this month in 1 Corinthians feels so relatable.

Paul wasn’t writing to people who had it all together. He was writing to messy, distracted, imperfect people learning how to stay faithful anyway.

The good news? God never asked for perfect.

He asked for willing. Faithful. Showing up again.

So if today feels chaotic, unfinished, or like you’re holding it together with coffee and prayers whispered mid-task… same 😂

And also? Grace.

✨ Faithful, not perfect.

What’s your most relatable ADHD moment today? 👇

June mood: try again without shame. 🤍

Lift something heavy. Drink the water. Open the Bible. Rest when needed. Give yourself grace.

New beginnings > perfect plans.

✨ June Series: Faithful, Not Perfect ✨

Have you ever felt like you’re trying your best… but somehow still feel behind?

Like you missed the quiet time. Forgot the prayer. Snapped at your kids. Started over for the 47th time. Opened your Bible while mentally planning dinner, remembering laundry, and wondering why you walked into the room in the first place. 😅

Friend — this month is for the messy middle.

This June, we’re walking through 1 Corinthians together in a series called:

Faithful, Not Perfect
A Journey Through 1 Corinthians: Grace for the Messy Middle

And here’s the good news:

God never asked us to have it all together.

He never asked for polished faith, perfect routines, or flawless consistency.

He asks for faithfulness.

Tiny faith still counts. Showing up still counts. Beginning again still counts.

So this month, we’re letting go of perfection and leaning into grace.

☕ Monday–Saturday: daily devotionals + simple journal prompts
📖 Sunday: weekly recap + preview of what’s ahead
✨ Real faith for real life — messy bun, scribbled notes, distracted moments and all.

If you’ve ever loved Jesus and still felt like a beautiful mess…

Welcome. You’re in the right place. 💛

Sometimes we get going and life just has a way of reminding us why we’re just built different.

It’s NOT a bad thing! Embrace it. Pray on it. And keep being a bad mama!

Before I hit a workout, I try to remind myself of this:

Movement is not punishment. My body is not an enemy. And strength is about so much more than muscles.

Some days I walk into a workout feeling motivated. Some days I walk in overstimulated, distracted, emotionally exhausted, running on coffee and Jesus.

But prayer has a way of recentering me before the noise takes over.

These are 4 verses I pray over myself before workouts when I need strength, discipline, peace, or just enough motivation to show up.

Because faith and fitness were never meant to compete with each other.

Save this for your next workout day

Some days ADHD emotions feel like a tiny inconvenience.Other days they feel like your entire nervous system is on fire over one text message, one hard moment, or one overwhelming day.

But feeling deeply is not a character flaw.God created emotions. Jesus Himself experienced grief, compassion, anger, sorrow, and joy.

You are not “too much” because your emotions are intense. You’re human. And your feelings deserve compassion, not shame. 🤍

If this hit home, save it for the days your heart feels loud.

This morning I made coffee, sat down to pray… and immediately remembered 19 random things I “should probably do today.”
When your mind is Loud…. God still speaks

My brain loves to sprint at 6am. 🙃
But here’s what I’m learning: God isn’t waiting for me to quiet every thought — He meets me inside of them.

1 Kings 19:12 says God wasn’t in the wind, or fire, or earthquake…
He came in a whisper.

Sometimes it’s one verse.
Sometimes it’s two squats while the coffee reheats again.
Sometimes it’s just “God, please help my mind slow down for a minute.”

Tiny prayers count. Tiny focus counts. Tiny faithfulness counts.

If your brain has 52 tabs open, and you’re already refilling your mug…

God can still speak through the noise. 🤍
You’re not too distracted for Him.

Comment ☕️ if you’re starting today with coffee + grace.
