Calling all Renonians and Sparksites!! (I’m as shocked as you are that those are the correct terms 🤣).

More importantly—Every year, Postpartum Support International chapters put on a fundraiser called The Climb to raise awareness, community, and support for perinatal mental health. This is the first ever Reno event!!

As birth and postpartum doulas, we quite literally "walk the halls" with families in the postpartum arena in every single stage. We sit with the raw reality of what parents go through (even with prep and help!), and we know firsthand how vital it is to have accessible community, open awareness, and real care.

We are proudly sponsoring this year's Reno Climb because this cause is our life's work. We are fundraising to make sure no parent in our community has to navigate perinatal mental health challenges in the dark or alone.

Camping on Mother’s Day may be my new favorite thing. New tradition emerging maybe? One night away seems like nothing beforehand but these 24 hours I felt rejuvenated, loved, care-free, and had zero home or work things pulling my attention away from my incredible family. Sometimes we gotta isolate in the woods for a bit to remember what matters ♥️🔥

Kiddos went on a flower walk to bring me a nature bouquet in their buckets, I cannnnnotttt with how cute that was! I’m so lucky I get to be their mom.

Happy belated Mother’s Day to all 🫶

Nourishing the mother, so she can nourish her baby ♥️

I was hired by this mom’s thoughtful friends to stock her kitchen with fresh, healing, and nutrient-dense meals.

A big goal of postpartum support is to “protect the bubble”. Sometimes that looks like taking the mental (& physical) load of nourishment off the table. This time that looked like…

🥣 Bone-broth, fresh sourdough, jujube & goji berry chicken soup, breakfast casserole bites, autumn bowls, ginger fried rice & jujube/goji tea mix.

I’m more commonly found cooking in my client’s kitchen. I don’t always get to prepare postpartum food drops, but when I do, it’s done with so much love and care ♥️
