Here we go!!! Back in this fu***ng chair again for 4 hours!! Vacation this week, one day remaining tomorrow and haven't done a thing because of this fu***ng machine and these needles🤮

Echocardiogram today, several other imaging appointments upcoming as we are beginning the transplant readiness stage. That being said still looking at Spring/Summer 2027 for "the call" but we're getting closer💚💪🙏

Another wrench thrown into the mix yesterday is I found out I have to move. Stress filled apartment searching and thousands, that I currently do not have to re-locate. Looks like alot of OT in the near future, mixed in with the 12 hour weekly dialysis grind absolutely sucks. There is no other choice. It is so exhausting both mentally and emotionally, made worse by not having a S.O. a ride a die woman by my side. God know I've tried for years, decades even....Had it with Tiea for about 5 years+ still the ONLY woman in my 56 years to EVER give me a chance!!!!

This week was the start of my 62nd month on In-Center Hemodialysis!! 5 years and two months of EVERY Monday-Wednesday-Friday hooked up to this machine for four hours each day for 12 hours EVERY week💪🙏💪

I have to be honest, there are some weeks I don't know how the eff I continue to do it. It's NOT easy and it's NEVER "fun"...LOL!! I often wonder how different it would be if I had a solid S.O. by my side a "ride or die". God knows I've tried for years and it's so frustrating to do most of this alone and it really SUCKS🤮

My Nephrologists and Transplant Team said at the beginning of this way back in January of 2021 that, if I did not have a LIVING DONOR it would be 6-7 years before I would get "the call" because of the O NEGATIVE blood type. Maybe that call comes later this year, until then no other choice but to keep🥊🥊 and I WILL!!

Haven't updated in a while.

Not much new to report. Began my 55th month on dialysis and I turn 56 this Saturday. I'm told that I probably have another year before they begin the "transplant readiness" prep. To say this is a grind is a understatement and I do get burned out, currently in one of those cycles🙏💪💚

This IgA Nephropathy affects 3 in 100,000 people and I'm O NEGATIVE blood, which only 6% of the population carry. I guess I need a little Luck of the Irish to get this kidney☘️💪🇨🇮...LOL

WOW. I didn't realize the numbers were that high "kidney specific"

I'm 53 months into dialysis, and have had only a couple of people get tested. Unless they tell me I have no idea because unless it gets past the initial stages, blood type being the most important, there's no need for my Coordinator to contact me.

Haven't had much in the way of updates since I created this page. For those who have reached out in DM/Messenger and told me they reached out to the LIVING DONOR PROGRAM at Massachusetts General Hospital THANK YOU, you truly are AMAZING💚🙏💚💪💚

A match is going to be a long shot at best, seeing as only 6% of the population is O NEGATIVE blood, and there is much more that goes into it, tissue typing and a mega amount of other testing to secure a match.

I will update more often and THANK YOU ALL for the support it is so appreciated and VERY MUCH NEEDED💚💚💚

Not that I'm counting or anything(LOL) but today begins my 51st MONTH on in-center Hemodialysis. That's 3 days per week 4 hours each day. 12 hours per week....UGH🙏💪
