Happy Best Friends Day! We celebrate the ones who have our backs through everything.

But celebrating a best friend also means being ready to protect them when it matters most.

Did you know that about 70% of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests happen at home or in private settings? That means if you ever have to perform CPR, there is a very high chance the life you are saving belongs to a spouse, a family member, or your best friend.

What would happen if your best friend had an emergency right in front of you, and you didn't know what to do? Don't let helplessness be your answer. The greatest gift you can give the people you love is your readiness to act.
