📣Calling all PTs, OTs, and students!📣  If you've been curious about pelvic health, check out the Pelvic Health Solutions Level 1 course we are hosting in September!

This course introduces therapists to internal and external assessment and treatment for adults who experience urinary incontinence or prolapse. It will give you an excellent foundation to start in the specialty. In fact, it is the introductory course I recommend most!

In this hybrid course, you will do two days of live online, and the final partial day will be an on site lab at our clinic in Richland, WA making it much more accessible than other courses too. We'd love to have you there!

Dr. Nathan took our team through all of the ways the foot impacts the pelvic floor today in our Clinical Collective!🦶

We strongly believe that we have to take a full body (yes, literally head to toe!) approach to your pelvic health concerns in order for you to fully reach and maintain your goals.

If you have tried kegels, a pelvic floor chair, or a provider who is zoomed in on only one thing and are still having leakage, pelvic pain, pelvic heaviness, or other symptoms, please know that there may be more to the story!

You deserve to feel better!💜

We've got a new blog up all about Dry Needling. Dr. Nathan and Dr. Jacki are some of the first physical therapists endorsed in Washington state to provide this safe, effective treatment technique and we love having it in our toolbox at the clinic! Check out the full blog at

Dry needling is a technique that uses fine-gauge needles to affect muscle, connective tissue, and the nervous system from the needle insertion alone. As part of a comprehensive plan of care, it is a safe and effective treatment modality to improve pain, mobility, and function.

You've got plenty on your plate as it is with a new baby, so adding thumb or wrist pain to the mix is 👎🏼

De Quervain's tenosynovitis is more commonly called "mom thumb" or "mom wrist" and can come from aggravation in the area from a combination of hormones, swelling, and repetitive movements.

To start, try avoiding aggravating positions or movements. Things like keeping your thumb with your fingers to pick up baby, trying to maintain more neutral wrist positions, and avoiding texting or scrolling with your sore thumb can go a long way.

Pain-free stretching or mobilization around the area or specific strengthening can also help. Sometimes a splint or anti-inflammatory options can be useful too.

If you are dealing with thumb or wrist pain, reach out for support! We are here to help you with ANY part of your body that is affecting your life!
