During my drive home from the retreat in Colorado, I kept thinking about archery and much it had shaped my life in just two years. The obstacles I've had to overcome in the sport, and how much they carry over into everyday life.
Anyone can pull a bow back, the skill is in the hold.
Staying steady at full draw long enough to aim true.
I realized healing is the same.
The breakthrough isn't in the force.
It's learning to stay regulated while you're under tension, so you can point your energy at the root instead of firing at every symptom.

Who am I to support others, when I still struggle myself?

Self-doubt and a dream, coexisting in the same body.
I went into the Ritually Rooted retreat depleted and feeling exhausted from running from myself, and from the exact thing I want most. It's wild, wanting to support others so badly, so successfully, that it scares you.
What the Ritually Rooted family helped me remember is that the struggle is exactly what makes me the person to support others. Not only do I have the education, but I have the experience. I have a whole community of incredible practitioners to lean on, day or night, who believe in me. And I have a beautiful testimony from a woman I've already supported, and continue to support.
So maybe, just maybe, what I view as flaws and/or setbacks, are just lessons qualifying me to hold space for others, not in spite of my struggles, but because of them.

I am always working on and thinking of how to perfect something that I genuinely believe is going to change the way people think about their skin.
If you've ever been told your breakouts, your flares, your dryness, your sensitivity, are just something you have to deal with; I want you to know that's not the whole story.
There's almost always a root cause. And finding it changes everything.
That's what I do. And I love it.

I won in my flight class at archery leaques for the first time last week!
Honestly didn't see it coming. But I've been showing up, practicing, staying consistent, and its paying off.
I have been thinking about that a lot with skin healing too.
The people who get the most transformation in my intensive aren't the ones who found a magic product.
They`re the ones who just kept showing up, even when it felt like nothing was changing.
Progress isn't always visible until suddenly it is. Anyway, I'm still celebrating as I go into leagues tonight.
Win or not, I am showing up and I am proud of my progress.

Regular acne sits at the surface, Cystic acne goes deep into the skin. When bacteria gets trapped alongside sebum and dead skin cells, our immune system sends everything it has to fight it.
