We had a very special visitor at Tippah County Hospital today!

Baby Juniper Mitchell and her mom, Mary, stopped by to say hello and visit with CEO Patrick Chapman and staff.

Juniper made quite an entrance into the world earlier this year. During January’s winter storm, Mary went into labor at home while fallen trees and downed power lines made it difficult for emergency responders to reach her. With help from her family and local emergency responders, she safely made it to Tippah County Hospital, where Juniper was born.

Today, Juniper is happy, healthy, growing — and as precious as ever.

It was wonderful to see Mary and Juniper again and to get an update on one of the most memorable patients of the year.
