According to the Association of Sleep Medicine (AASM), developing healthy sleep habits can lead to better quality sleep so you feel more alert during the day.

The AASM gives the following suggestions for creating a healthy sleep routine:
🕰️ Stick to a regular sleep schedule—even on weekends
📵 Power down screens at least 30 minutes before sleep
💡 Dim bright lights in the evening to help your body wind down
🏃‍♂️ Incorporate regular physical activity into your routine
🍽️ Avoid heavy meals close to bedtime
☕ Skip caffeine in the late afternoon and evening
🍷 Limit alcohol before bedtime for better sleep quality
