Today is the day.. It is officially AAHA Accredited Hospital Day! If you are unable to stop in today for a chance to win one of our gift baskets, please post the cutest picture possible of the pet that you would like to win the basket for (dog or cat) and we will enter your name for you.
Once we’ve selected our winners we will contact you and you can come claim your prize at the clinic. You will have 2 weeks to claim your prize before another winner is selected.
We are serving chips and dip, and other treats from 11-2pm. We are also offering FREE microchip scanning for all pets. Our hours are 8:30am until 5pm.

In case you were wondering here is a little more information about what this day represents:
An AAHA accreditation is a strong indication that a veterinary practice delivers quality medicine. This accreditation means we have voluntarily undergone a rigorous evaluation process every 3 years and have met or exceeded a set of high standards for veterinary care, facilities and patient safety, and have committed to a path of continuous improvement.

🐾 Does your pet really need bloodwork if they seem perfectly healthy?

Short answer: yes — and here's why.

Pets are masters at hiding that something is wrong. By the time symptoms show up, a disease process may have already been going on for months. Annual wellness labwork lets us see what's happening on the inside, even when your pet looks and acts completely fine on the outside.

A routine blood chemistry, complete blood count, and urinalysis can give us a window into your pet's liver, kidneys, pancreas, thyroid, red and white blood cells, electrolytes, and more. We're looking for subtle early changes that, caught in time, can be managed — or even reversed.

And for pets on chronic medications or managing an ongoing health condition? Routine labwork isn't optional — it's essential. Many medications, while incredibly helpful, need to be monitored over time to make sure they're not placing extra stress on the kidneys or liver. Regular screening keeps us ahead of those changes and keeps your pet safely on the treatment plan that's working for them.

We offer age-based annual wellness screening packages for both dogs and cats — tailored to what's most important to monitor at each stage of life.
