Drought Stage Update – Stage 2

We are pleased to inform our customers that, due to the combined lake levels rising above 30%, we are moving from Stage 3 Drought Restrictions to Stage 2 Drought Restrictions.

Stage 2 drought restrictions are now in effect.

We appreciate everyone’s continued cooperation and efforts to conserve water. Please continue to use water responsibly and follow all Stage 2 watering and conservation requirements.

Chlorine conversion begins today!

Starting July 31st, RAWS will be undergoing a system wide, TCEQ approved "Chlorine Burn" or "Chlorine Conversion". This is standard and similar to all of the burns or conversions completed in the years past. This will last through August 27th. During this time, you will notice an increased smell and possible taste of Chlorine in your RAWS water. This is completely normal and safe for regular consumption. Should you have any questions or concerns, please call the office.
