Let’s unpack internalized misogyny and policing women/victims when they speak about abuse.

The patriarchy & abusive systems thrive when women are the biggest weapon in questioning claims of abuse, harassment, misconduct from predatory men (women too.)

All of these labels will get thrown around like confetti to avoid the truth & deflect from the true reality of the situation. She HAS to be unstable so he can continue to have access to children to abuse. Plain and simple. She HAS to be crazy so no one believes the truth about us.

Dodge, dip, deny, duck, dodge, deflect. Anything to avoid accountability. Because it’s all about image management.

I am exhausted. Terrified. Irate. And I cannot pretend any of this is normal.

Being a DV survivor, I have lived inside a system (well twice - childhood & marriage) that gaslit me into silence, fear, and exhaustion. So when you watch the whole country do it….. I just cannot fathom this.
