You don’t have to wait until things get “really bad” to talk to someone. ❤️

Maybe school is stressing you out.
Friend drama is getting to you.
You don’t feel like yourself lately.
You’re worried about a friend.
Or honestly… life just feels like a lot right now.

That’s enough of a reason to reach out.

You don’t need to know exactly what to say. Start with:

“Can I talk to you?”
“I’m having a hard time.”
“I don’t really know how to explain it, but I need someone.”

Talk to someone you trust—a parent, teacher, counselor, coach, mentor, or another safe adult.

You deserve to be heard before you reach your breaking point.

And if you need additional support, you can call or text 988. You don’t have to already be in crisis to reach out.

🩵 Sometimes the hardest words to say are, “I need help.”

But you don’t have to wait until things feel unbearable to reach out. Talk to someone you trust. Check in on the person who’s been a little quieter lately. Ask the question, even if you’re not sure what to say next.

We can’t always see what someone is carrying. A conversation, a check-in, or simply reminding someone they’re not alone can matter more than we realize.
