This Independence Day weekend, America celebrates an incredible milestone... 250 years! 🇺🇸

It's the perfect time to celebrate not only our nation's history, but also the stories that make Rockport such a special place. From the historic Rockport Railroad Depot Museum to the Rockport Art Festival, visitors from near and far will be enjoying everything our Cultural Arts District has to offer.

Of course... Penelope has been busy decorating, welcoming visitors, and getting everything ready for the celebration...

Then she looked at her clipboard.

"Hmm... what did I forget?" 🤔

💡 The volunteer schedule!

We're looking for ONE Depot Hero to help welcome visitors this Saturday from 1:00–4:00 PM. Can't stay the whole time? Let us know! We're happy to split the shift.

You'll spend a fun afternoon greeting guests, sharing a little Rockport history, and helping make America's 250th Birthday celebration one to remember.

🌿🎬 PENELOPE IN PERIL: ECOSUMMIT EDITION! 🎬🌿
⭐ DID YOU KNOW? ⭐
This Friday, June 19, RCAD hosts the 2nd Annual EcoSummit, celebrating the people, projects, and natural resources that help make Rockport-Fulton and Aransas County the Ecosystem Capital of the Texas Gulf Coast.
Near the Cultural Interface sculpture at Beach Park, native coastal grasses and plants have been restored to help preserve a landscape that reflects the natural heritage of our coast and supports local wildlife.
🚣‍♀️ Unfortunately...
Penelope interpreted "EcoSummit" as an invitation to become a kayaking expert.
Witnesses report she: • Turned the kayak upside down
• Attached the life vest to the paddle
• Declared herself "ready to launch"
Fortunately, Aransas Pathways Kayaking Chair Jim Farnsworth happened to be nearby preparing for EcoSummit's Sunset Kayak Experience.
Fortunately, Jim was being Jim.
Meanwhile, Penelope has discovered another crisis...

What if it became the thing that helped you show up better for everything else?

When The Pilates Place was created, the goal was never simply fitness. It was to create a space where people could reconnect with themselves through intentional movement, supportive community, and time set aside just for them.

That's still our mission today. 🌿
