Meet the Staff Monday!
Angie Garcia Nava, Optometric Technician

Angie has been working in the field of Optometry since 2018. She started working in optical and became an optometric technician in 2021. She joined Eyecare Rockwall recently, where she greets the patients, pre-tests and prepares the patient for the examining Doctors. Angie enjoys being part of a team making a difference and seeing how happy patients are when they can finally see clearly again.

“Being able to make a positive impact on someone’s daily life is one of the most rewarding parts of my job”, Angie says. “I’m passionate about patient care, and I enjoy creating a welcoming experience for everyone who comes into our office.”

Outside of work, Angie loves reading and getting lost in a good book whenever she can. She also loves spending time with friends playing Dungeons & Dragons on the weekends, as she enjoys the creativity and teamwork that comes with DND.

We’re so fortunate to have Amy as part of the Eyecare Rockwall reception team! With extensive experience in patient intake, insurance benefits, scheduling, and customer service, Amy helps ensure every patient feels welcomed, informed, and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors.

From greeting patients with a smile to answering questions and coordinating the check-in and check-out process, Amy is dedicated to creating a smooth and positive experience for everyone she meets. Her compassion, professionalism, and heart for serving others truly make her an invaluable part of our team.

Cristal Mijares, Patient Coordinator

We are so blessed Cristal chose to join our team at Eyecare Rockwall! With more than 11 years of customer service experience, including a notable tenure with the City of Rockwall, Cristal brings warmth, professionalism, and genuine compassion to every patient interaction. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where every patient can feel comfortable, valued, and truly cared for from the moment they walk through the door.

Known for her friendly personality and attentive approach, Cristal loves building lasting relationships and helping others in any way she can. Able to assist patients in English and Spanish, her goal is to make each visit a positive and memorable experience for everyone.

Outside the office, Cristal cherishes spending time with her son, spouse, and family. Whether she’s at the gym, exploring local coffee spots, or enjoying a little shopping, she loves making the most of her time with the people and activities she enjoys most.

On a serious note, National Police Week is observed from May 10-16, with Peace Officers Memorial Day taking place today, May 15th. This week honors the service and sacrifice of all U.S. law enforcement officers and remembers those who’ve died in the line of duty.

Quintina Jones, Patient Coordinator

Meet our incredible patient coordinator, Quintina! With over 20 years of experience in customer service, she brings a wealth of knowledge and warmth to our team. Since joining the Eyecare Rockwall family nearly three years ago, Quintina has enriched the reception experience into something truly special.

From the moment patients step through our doors, Quintina ensures they feel welcomed and at ease. Her friendly smile and engaging conversations create a comfortable atmosphere, making every visit memorable. She is fiercely dedicated to patient care, going above and beyond to ensure that all questions are answered and every concern is addressed prior to a patient’s departure.

Outside of work, Quintina is a powerhouse in the kitchen, whipping up delicious baked goods. She treasures her time with her four sons and seven grandchildren, creating lasting memories together. And let’s not forget her adorable Chihuahua puppy, Prince, who adds a sprinkle of joy to her busy life!

Quintina is a very special individual and we are so blessed to have her at the heart of our team!
