We all know that walking has physical and even emotional benefits. In order to get the most out of your walk, practice mindfulness. It’s easy to be present in the journey when we have a walking buddy, but if we are walking alone it’s easy to get distracted by our thoughts. Yesterday I remained mindful by engaging my senses on my walk. I listened to the gravel crunching under my feet and the birds chirping melody. I felt the breeze on my face and the sun’s warmth on my skin. I saw the green meadows and the ripples in the water. Stay present and enjoy the journey.
