At 62, I’m learning that being healthy doesn’t always look the way it used to.
Right now, I’m navigating work, caregiving, disrupted sleep, shorter workouts, shorter walks, and less stamina than I’m accustomed to.
My routine has been turned upside down, and honestly, I’m still figuring out what this season looks like.
But I’m not giving up on my health.
I’m lifting when I can. I’m walking. I’m prioritizing protein and nourishing foods. I’m listening to my body instead of pushing it to meet an old version of myself.
And maybe that’s part of aging well, too.
Fitness isn’t about perfection. It’s about adapting, staying consistent where you can, and continuing to care for yourself through every season of life.
Some seasons are about progress.
Some are about maintenance.
Some are simply about getting through the day and doing the best you can.
Right now, I’m taking it one day at a time. ❤️
