Traditional classes are usually one-size-fits-all and can be difficult for people to attend, schedule, or understand. Inappropriate class lengths, pa
cked lessons, set schedules, and rigid methods can mean students are rushed through activities, don't get their questions answered fully, and don't get enough practice to ensure muscle memory. Baird Safety Training offers classes in a variety of health and safety topics such as Babysitting Safety, CPR, First Aid, BLS, AVIRT (Active Violence Immediate Response Training), OSHA, and many more in the future. We can perform initial certifications, recertifications, and be a supplemental resource to programs already established. These classes are offered in a variety of options:
Online, In-Person, and Blended (online learning and an in-person skill demonstration). We have standard-length classes, Challenges (demonstration without lessons), skill refreshers (because 2 years is a long time), short classes in a series (still eligible for certification, 30-45 minutes each), and remote learning (for those who have transportation or comfort concerns). With these options, we hope to support those who need a different style of classes including people with children, long work hours or unpredictable schedules, an inability to focus for long periods of time, or have other constraints on their lives. In the future, we will be partnering with non-profits and community programs to provide classes and training to others in our neighborhood who would be otherwise unable to learn these important life-saving skills.
