Helping out all shapes and sizes of horses find their freedom in movement. These two horses couldn’t be farther from different and yet we all have the same goal for them, to make sure they are free of any restrictions they may have in their bodies. As well as, seeing the improvement in their movement after each session. It’s so rewarding and so fascinating watching how each of them processes through their releases and body tension.

Galaxy 🌌
This beautifully freckled mare had a session with me today. When I tell you how much this mare has changed In the last year of knowing her it’s quite incredible. When we first started working together during her bodywork sessions she was incredibly defensive and didn’t really want anybody to touch her due to many years of discomfort in her own body. I owe this recognition of change to the incredibly people I work beside at the rescue. They have worked really hard to 1. Make sure all her basic needs are met, 2. Make sure her body is properly exercised and conditioned, 3. And most importantly make sure she has a voice in the conversation to say “I don’t quite feel comfortable with that” and work through it with her.

Feeling grateful today for the opportunity to be breathing, to feel the sun on my skin, and to be able to provide some relief to these creatures who hold so much for me. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t wish for another life… this is where I’m meant to be, this is what I’m meant to be doing and I can’t wait to continue to learn, grow, and guide as many horses as possible to more freedom in movement. 🫶🏻🤍🐴

Just leaving this hunk of a boy on your feed this morning😍 god is he gorgeous and he moves just as big and floaty as he looks.

Atticus was on the schedule this beautiful Sunday morning. We spent some time working on his shoulder and hind end as they were restricting some of his big movement. But with some time, some energy through my hands, and more movement after his session his shoulder and hind end were able to move more freely with less restriction. He even found some beautiful moments of stretching low and through his back which made his gait even more satisfying to watch. 🐴

An old face and a new face!

Smokey (Mustang) is an old face who is recently coming back from quite the injury to his knee. He is cleared by the vet and is slowly getting back to work. He’s got some topline to build back and strength but he will get there. 🐴

Atticus (Irish Sport Horse) is a new face on the farm, he just arrived from HWH’s sister farm in North Carolina. He’s here to lend a helping hand to Adare with lessons and helping pony the up and coming horses at the rescue. This big bodied, gorgeous red head is an incredible mover. Floaty and large! Can’t help but stare at him as he moves around. He is quite the character as well, goofy and curious. He reminds me of Clifford the Big Red Dog ❤️
