PSA: As we age, our body isn't as adept at regulating our temperature the way it did when we were younger. More hot days ahead for us in Sacramento, so please be heat-safe and check on older folks to make sure that they are able to stay cool. Here are some heat-safety tips. And I can't stress this enough how important it is for seniors, especially those who live alone or have spouses/partners with cognitive decline, to have an emergency plan in place with a wearable, personal emergency alert device with 24/7 monitoring.
