Laura is truly a rockstar in our clinic! She is always willing to jump in and support her coworkers, help wherever she’s needed, and bring positive energy into the clinic each day.

What makes Laura especially amazing is the way she celebrates her clients’ growth. She loves showing off their newly learned skills, celebrating their accomplishments, and helping them become more confident and independent every day. 🥹👏

We asked Laura: “What is one piece of advice you’ve learned as an RBT?” Her answer was:

“Progress is not always measured by the absence of challenging behavior, but by the presence of new skills and greater independence.”

I was so honored to attend the Moose Lodge #455 meeting today! They are making Awetism Wonderland the beneficiary of their annual poker run ride on April 11th. Ride is open to the public to register. Happy Monday to all of the parents, friends, and supporters of AW! We are reaching out to share with you our FIRST supply drive. This is separate from any of our fundraisers and will immediately benefit our staff and clients as these are everyday items.

One of our biggest goals for this year as a clinic is organization and with that we are looking to our community for help in getting stocked up with everyday essentials that will support our clients + staff. We appreciate any support you are able to provide including sharing this post!

Christmas Cheer is Alive at Awetism Wonderland! 🎅

We’ve been having so much fun this holiday season — from decorating gingerbread houses (congrats to our winning team!) to festive crafts, dress-up fun in our Grinch and Santa costumes, and even cozy community outings to see Christmas trees and a relaxing visit the beach.

Our clients have been learning, laughing, and celebrating all month long — and we’ve loved every second of it! 💚❤️
