"What have I been up to?" "Where have I been?" "Why arn't you posting?" Hey there, Amy here from dis❌ABILITY. You probably have noticed that I haven't been posting daily or sharing the daily morning reminder quotes anymore on our story.

Don't worry! I'm not going anywhere, and this community will continue to grow, support and empower individuals from all over the world. BUT I have had to take a step back from posting daily and creating less content because as many of you know, I do own and operate another business fulltime,

It is a very busy time of year, and the production and orders are flowing for t-shirts and signage at The Loyal Brand and because of that I have had to take a step back from posting daily for our dis❌ community.

✅ This does not mean that you can't still reach out. I am one DM away.

✅ I am still available for hire for keynote speaking engagements, and disability awareness, accessibility and inclusion trainings.

✅ You can still order dis❌ABILITY apparel/merch through the link in my bio

✅ You can still order the Speak Up & Speak Out Self Advocacy Guide and video series.

✅ We are still actively engaged in the community and sponaring and attending fundraisers and events.

✅ I will absolutely return to posting daily in the future.

Until then, please check out the recent copy of Voyage Jacksonville Magazine!!! Voyage shared my story and did an interview about dis❌ABILITY and my business The Loyal Brand and how our work is impacting the community.

Until next time, I love you and I'm advocating for you!

Speechless! 😭 This week I am proud to share that we have been PUBLISHED and featured in the Voyage Jacksonville Magazine, for Jacksonville Florida's most inspiring stories. 🙌

You can read my interview here and learn more about how my business partner and I are serving our community through screen-printed apparel and giving back to the disabled community. Together we can create lasting change. ❤️

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amy Ader. They had a chance to share their story with us below: Growing up with multiple learning disabilities, I was frequently reminded of the things I couldn’t do or was not good at. In high school, my geometry teacher told my parents, “Amy’s disability...

I would like to introduce and share with you a small local business that I wholeheartedly support and believe in - Chomper Buddies by Memories Redesigned - Tracy

Chompers are a good tool for children to use when they have anxiety or other concerns they want to get off their mind. These are great for parents to learn and engage in conversation about what their child is worried about. Great for therapists, teachers, medical offices, police, and first responders.

Growing up I struggled with severe separation anxiety from my family. This is a product and tool that I wholeheartedly believe in and couldn't wait to share with you!

Each Chomper Buddy comes with a sweet poem on the back that says:

"If you have a little worry, and don't know what to do,
let this buddy be your friend, and he'll look after you.
Write your worries on some paper 5 or 6 or just a few.
Put them in your buddy's mouth
And let him chop and chew.
He will eat up all your worries, and the things that make you blue and before you know it you will be good as new."

"Chomper Buddies are the best stuffies for kids and adults that suffer from worries, anxieties, and fears. They are the greatest tool for kids to take with them for treatments, hospital stays, or therapy.
They can also be used as a tooth fairy pillow and Christmas list holder for Santa to retrieve."

Memories Redesigned - Chomper Buddies are currently looking for organizations, foundations, nonprofits and gift shops that would love to carry them for children in need and take their worries away.

If you are interested in learning more or would like to buy a Chomper Buddy please visit their page and Etsy store:

Real people are as capable of being heroic as fictional superheros and Caleb is one of our heroes! It has been so incredible watching Caleb grow and mature and conquer each challenge and adversity that he faced along the way.

Caleb is still young, but he is SO determined, motivated and dedicated to reaching his goals, practicing daily, and stretching himself beyond ANYONE'S limiting beliefs of people with Down syndrome or a disability.

After the special Olympics Caleb's PROUD mom shared that "Caleb is super proud of his bling! He earned siver in Open Water Swim and a participation ribbon for Triathlon.

He has come so far in such a short time, but there is so much growth ahead for him. We are very thankful for opportunities, organizations that are supportive and inclusive, and the fact that he’s determined and focused. The best is yet to come!"👍🏼

we will ALWAYS BE A FAN!

I'm advocating for you 🤟❤️

❌ABILITY

What limiting beliefs are you holding onto that you need to let go of? A limiting belief is a state of mind, conviction, or belief that you think to be true that limits you in some way.

This limiting belief could be about you, your interactions with other people, or with the world and how how you think the world perceives you.

Many parents of children with disabilities are told certain things that their child will or won't be able to do because of their disability.

Growing up with multiple learning disabilities I had a limiting belief of how far I would be able to make it school and college because of how much I struggled in math.

Children with disabilities create their own limiting beliefs about themselves based on the influence and views of the adults around them. They are like sponges and will absorb whatever is being modeled to them.

So I ask you, what limiting beliefs do you need to shed? Becuase everyone has a purpose and everyone is born with unique strengths and skills that are of value to this world.

Extra big thank you to those who have always believed in us!

First things first, becoming a strong and confident self advocate does not happen overnight. Enough with this instant gratification and over night success stuff. That's not real life!

Comparison is the theif of joy, so don't spend your life comparing your chapter one to their chapter 10

If you want to create lasting change, and finally taken back control of your life, then you have to choose to show up everyday and make the hard choices. You have to be consistent through daily habits and routines, until one day it becomes second natures.

Keep building that foundation, and take your time, laying one brick at a time. Remember the story of the wise man who built his house on the rocks, and the foolish man who built his house on the sand. "The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house; and it didn't fall, for it was founded on the rock." Be present, conscious and consistent.

Take your time , make strong decisions and one day you will have built your house on the rocks and you will sleep at night confident in your own strengths and abilities to advocate for your wants and needs.

I'm advocating for you 🤟❤️
