A shopping trip can mean so much more than picking out something new. 🛍️

Our residents recently enjoyed a special day at the Golden Blessings Boutique, where each person received boutique money to “shop” for items of their choice. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community and the Forest Hill team, the boutique was filled with thoughtful donations that made this experience possible.

For many of our residents, it had been a long time since they had the chance to enjoy a shopping trip. Seeing them browse the tables, choose their favorite items, and hear them say, “This feels like a real shopping trip,” was something we’ll never forget.

A heartfelt thank you to Golden Blessings Boutique for creating such a meaningful experience for our Beacon House residents, and to everyone who donated their time, kindness, and generosity to make the day so special. We already can’t wait to do it again this fall! 💛

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to residents Helen Klan and Cheryl Newkirk and their families for the incredible care, time, and generosity they poured into our courtyard.

From cleaning up debris to planting flowers and vegetables and adding beautiful decorations, their hard work has helped transform the space into a welcoming place for everyone to enjoy. Their kindness and dedication have made a lasting impact on our Beacon House community.

We also loved seeing resident Eloise Thompson and her daughter spending time together in the courtyard, enjoying the beautiful space that so many caring hands helped create.

Thank you to everyone who helped bring new life to our courtyard. It’s acts of kindness like these that make Beacon House feel like home. 💛

A little generosity can go a long way. 💛

We’re collecting gently used clothing, purses, jewelry, scarves, and accessories for our upcoming Golden Boutique on June 25th.

This special shopping event gives residents of Forest Hill and Beacon House Senior Living the opportunity to browse and “shop” for items at no cost in a fun boutique-style setting right here in our community.

Donations may be dropped off Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM at Forest Hill.

Thank you for helping us create a meaningful day for our residents. Every donation is appreciated!

Forest Hill and Beacon House Senior Living are honored to help spread the word about the upcoming blood drive. Giving blood is a meaningful way to support patients in need, and every donation can make a real difference. In the U.S., someone needs blood every two seconds, and one whole blood donation can help more than one person.

We hope you’ll consider joining us on Wednesday, May 20, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Beacon House in St. Clairsville. Appointment details are included on the flyer.

A sweet treat for the team during National Nurses Week 💙 Brittany, Dietary Manager for Forest Hill and Beacon House Senior Living, helped make the week a little extra special by passing out sweet treats to staff. We’re so grateful for the care, teamwork, and thoughtfulness that go into celebrating the people who do so much each day.

We loved being part of the 2026 Senior Expo and having the chance to connect with so many seniors from the community.

Hosted by WTOV NEWS9 at Highlands Sports Complex, this event brought together 9 senior centers for a day filled with conversation, connection, bingo, a scavenger hunt, and some amazing prizes. April McCort, Director of Community Engagement and Admissions for Forest Hill, represented Forest Hill and Beacon House Senior Living locations and helped make the most of such a meaningful community event.

We’re always grateful for opportunities like this to show up, share resources, and build real connections with the communities around us.

Good food and good company made for a really great staff picnic. ☀️

Our department heads from Forest Hill and Beacon House Senior Living brought in homemade dishes for everyone to enjoy, and it turned into such a nice time together. It’s always special to see the team come together in ways that feel thoughtful, personal, and full of community.
