The Minnesota Department of Health's Equitable Health Care Task Force recently released its recommendations, including:
• Increasing investment in primary & whole-person care to improve health care access for patients across MN.
• Expanding residency training opportunities in rural, underserved & Tribal communities.
• Supporting international medical graduates.
• Expanding workforce development efforts, including loan forgiveness + training opportunities.
• Building stronger team-based care models, including greater use of community health workers + care coordinators.
