Some people have seen this photo before, but it always makes me smile.
The picture on the right was taken years before the one on the left… and believe it or not, the “after” photo is about six years old now. These days I’ve traded the long hair and bare face for short hair and a beard, but otherwise not much has changed.
People occasionally ask me what I did.
The honest answer is… a little bit of everything.
There wasn’t one workout program. One diet. One supplement. One bodywork session. One book. One miracle.
It was a gradual shift toward living in a way that felt more in harmony with nature and with my own body.
I started moving more and sitting less. Paying attention to what I was eating. Learning to breathe better. Sleeping more. Stressing less. Finding practices that helped my nervous system settle down instead of constantly staying in survival mode.
Over the years I found incredible teachers and traditions that completely changed the way I think about health, movement, and healing. Every one of them offered another piece of the puzzle.
None of those things were magic by themselves.
Together, practiced consistently over time, they became a way of life.
That’s also why I approach my work the way I do. I’m never looking for the one thing that’s going to “fix” someone. I’m interested in helping people reconnect with their own bodies and giving them tools that continue working long after they leave my table.
Nature doesn’t rush. Growth doesn’t happen overnight. But if you keep showing up, amazing things can happen.
Hope you’re all having a beautiful day. If you’re curious about what integrative bodywork might add to your own journey, I’d love to work with you. 🌿
