I've learned so much about forgiveness in the passed few years.

Mostly that it's a process. A decision we make again and again when the enemy reminds us of the offenses comitted against us.. Especially when the offender is unrepentant.

When we continue to answer the call He's placed on us when we feel completely depleted, we realize that how we feel never stands up against the call He's deemed us capable of through Him alone.

He is our comforter, our provider, our vindicator. The one who replenishes when we think we have nothing left to give. The one who sets our feet on solid ground when we are almost certain our foundation has been rotted into rubble.

This is healing ground. I've found that it almost always happens in the very same places, at the very same time that we believe we've been completely destroyed.

We must remember what our faithful word says; That we are more than conquerers through Christ Jesus, who loves us with a perfect, everlasting love.

To where will we go for refuge if not the only One who can provide it?

How will we know the One who is flawless if we are not students of His Word?

There is One who has the shield that guards His beloveds.

The word of God was in the beginning and endures far past what we can ask or think.

Take refuge in Him today!

Let us take our gaze off of religion, as we posture our hearts toward a relationship with the One who's sacrifice made a direct pathway to the Father.
THIS is the reality for all of us who are absolutely desperate to be turned the right way up.

No counsel we give comes from within, but only from the God of heaven as His blessed Holy Spirit leads.

We are comforted in the Psalms that the Lord alone will make us dwell in safety. That we can sleep in peace because He is a God who never slumbers.

As we lay our heads down at night, or even in the day, we can give our sovereign God glory for the courage that got us through any sorrow; great or small.

If even the wind and the waves obey, let us be people who seek peace and persue it until the voice of our Lord calms the waves inside our weary souls.
