Here’s a risk factor most women never hear about 👇🏽

Starting your period at a very young age means longer lifetime exposure to estrogen — and that extended exposure can increase breast cancer risk later in life.

This isn’t about blame or fear — it’s about knowing your uncontrolled risks and doing something about it that you can control.

The earlier hormone cycling begins, the more important it becomes to support estrogen balance, detox pathways, and breast tissue health as you age.

In this video, I explain why early menarche matters, what it means for women over 40 today, and how to reduce risk regardless of when your period started.

Estrogen isn’t the enemy — imbalance is.

As perimenopause begins, estrogen levels don’t simply “drop.” They become erratic, often swinging too high at times and too low at others. That’s when problems start.

Too much estrogen without balance can increase risk.
Too little estrogen accelerates aging, inflammation, bone loss, brain decline, and cardiovascular issues.

The goal isn’t more estrogen — it’s the right amount, properly balanced and monitored.
When HRT is used correctly, it can keep estrogen at life-giving levels without creating estrogen dominance.

In this video, I explain how strategic, individualized HRT supports long-term health after perimenopause — without excess or risk.

This one surprises a lot of women 👇🏽

Hormonal birth control isn’t risk-free — even when taken at a young age.
Research has shown that using the pill at any point in life can increase breast cancer risk, especially with long-term use.

Why? Because the pill introduces synthetic hormones that alter estrogen signaling, suppress ovulation, and change how breast tissue responds to hormone exposure over time.

That doesn’t mean every woman who’s ever taken the pill is in danger — but it does mean understanding the long-term effects matters.

In this video, I explain how the pill affects breast tissue, why duration matters more than age, and what women can do to reduce risk moving forward.
