Okay, I confess I got tired! 😆

A model of three midwives is ideal - so one of us can always have the freedom to get sick, take a healthy break from her phone, go visit kids or just disappear for a few days! I share midwife Isabelle with one of the biggest birth centers - in Utah county so she can help as many women with their births as she has capacity for. That means a third midwife dedicated to Sego with me is ideal looking into 2027! It’s got to be a wonderful and easy fit. Someone who is happy doing prenatals & postpartum visits and can take second or third call behind us when needed! Licensed or non licensed CPMs considered. Preceptor status ideal. What a redemption birth following a high intervention institutional hospital birth and NICU stay looked like for this couple last pregnancy. She caught her own baby in the water. Prenatally we did a lot of processing on that prior experience and how it was informing her heading into this one. We love creating the safe space for that. We also love working with couples who have prior hospital birth experience, as showing them another way can be life altering, and it’s a joy for us to witness. ❤️ (posted with permission)

I gotta say, I’m pretty pi**ed off. Fauci knew miscarriage rate was 82% but they published propaganda it was 12%.

Interesting to see people on different side of the fence dig right back in despite truths we intuited back then, rolling out all over the place. I permanently lost friends. My second grader had to mask for a year. My college kids were coerced and forced the jab to attend college, run a sorority or play their sport. The world still isn’t right.

Placentas, baby’s lifeline organ, still don’t look right to me in the field. They have giant fissures. They are weaker.

Shoring up individual freedoms and choice is always hot. Eliminating personal freedom under the ALTRUISTIC GUISE of what’s good for the world, is darker aspect of humanity.

The National Health Service of the United Kingdom encourages their midwifery students to spend time in a global rotation to round out their perspectives. We were blessed to be chosen as a clinical site for Claire for the month of July. One of the sweetest spirits I have ever encountered. She lit up our clinic days and is sorely missed. Claire, you have a home here at Sego when you get done. Thank you for sharing your time with us and bringing the vibe of Call the Midwife to the Women of Sego Midwifery.
