Maya’s Love encourages every eligible voter to get informed and make a plan before Election Day.

Here is how to get ready:

💗 Check your voter registration status at VoteTexas.gov. If you still need to register, the Texas deadline is October 5, 2026.

💎 Review your sample ballot through VoteTexas.gov or your county elections website. Your ballot may include federal, state, county, judicial, school, and other community races.

✨ Get to know the candidates. Visit their official websites, read trusted local reporting, attend community forums, and compare their experience and positions on the issues that matter to you. Look beyond social media and verify information through more than one reliable source.

💗 Write down your choices or bring a sample ballot for personal use. Remember that phones cannot be used inside the voting room.

💎 Find your polling location and check the hours before leaving home.

✨ Review Texas voter ID requirements and prepare an acceptable form of identification.

💗 Consider voting early. Early voting in Texas runs from October 19 through October 30, 2026.

📬 If you plan to vote by mail, review the eligibility requirements and application process as soon as possible. The application deadline is October 23, 2026.

📅 Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

We are officially one week away from Maite Beach Cleanup! 🐚🌊

On Saturday, September 19, our Maya’s Love community will come together at the coast to honor and celebrate the beautiful life and dreams of Maite Yuleana Rodriguez. 💚

This year is especially meaningful. Our Uvalde community came together to hand-paint seashells in Maite’s honor, and next weekend, those shells will make their journey from Uvalde to the Coast. 🐚💚

To everyone who has signed up to join us, we can’t wait to see you! Come ready for a morning of service, community, and love for the ocean Maite loved so much. 🌊

Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001. 🇺🇸

Maya’s Love joins our nation in remembering the nearly 3,000 lives lost that day, the families who lost someone they loved, the children who grew up without a parent or loved one, and the first responders who ran toward danger to help others.

We also remember the service members who answered the call in the years that followed, those who never made it home, those who returned carrying visible and invisible wounds, and those we later lost to su***de, addiction, PTSD, and the lasting effects of war. We continue to hold our veterans and military families close to our hearts.

May we continue to honor their lives through remembrance, service, compassion, and care for one another.

Today and always, we remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

United Way of San Antonio , Joint Base San Antonio, and the San Antonio Food Bank are partnering to provide a monthly food distribution for service members, veterans, and their families with base access.

Yesterday was such a special day 💚🌊

Thank you to our Uvalde community for coming together to create, remember, and honor Maite. We painted seashells, made bracelets and necklaces with beautiful green and ocean-colored beads, shared Maite’s favorite Starbucks order, enjoyed some delicious treats, and filled the afternoon with so much love. 🐚💚✨

A very special thank you to Ana and all of Maite’s family for allowing us to continue honoring her beautiful life, to Ms. Nancy and the Starbucks Uvalde team for always opening your doors to Maya’s Love, and to Ms. Genesis from Lim The Baker for the delicious donations. And of course, thank you to every community member who came out and made this day so special. 💚

Before ending the day, we left a few of our painted shells at the Uvalde Plaza Memorial and at Maite’s beautiful mural. 🐚💚

Now these little pieces of Uvalde are headed somewhere Maite loved so much… the ocean. 🌊

Next stop: Maite’s Beach Cleanup on September 19th. 💚🐚🌊

We’ll be bringing these beautiful shells with us, carrying a little piece of Uvalde all the way to the coast in Corpus Christi.
