*UPDATED* Our winter months are almost booked, and I’m so grateful for the families who have trusted me to be part of their birth journey.

At this time, I have 1 opening in November and 3 openings in February and March for homebirth clients. These spots tend to fill quickly, so if you’re considering midwifery care, now is a great time to reach out.

Choosing your birth team is such a personal decision, and I love meeting with families to answer questions, talk through your hopes for birth, and see if we’re a good fit. 🤍

If you’re expecting this winter, I’d love to connect.

When midwives are away, we love to play! and I got to meet the owner and designer of at our continuing education conference in Dallas this weekend 🩷🩷. This particular tub is their single use tub; isn’t it gorgeous? I had to get in and try a few laboring positions🤭

*March 15 Mama*

There’s something so special about growing with a family 🤍

This sweet mama has trusted me through several pregnancies now, and somewhere along the way, we became more than just midwife + client—we became friends. Walking alongside her through different seasons, watching her strength, and witnessing this family grow has been such an honor.
One of my favorite parts of this birth was getting to teach the older kiddos about the placenta—answering their questions and letting their curiosity lead. And in the middle of it all, dad candidly snapped a selfie that perfectly captured the moment 😄✨

Birth at home is about so much more than just welcoming a baby—it’s about family, connection, and creating memories that will last forever.

So grateful to do this work and to be invited into moments like these 💛

What a week it’s been ✨

Four beautiful home births, four incredible families—and the boy babies definitely dominated this week 💙 These four due dates were stretched all across the month, a perfect reminder that due dates are just estimates… babies come on their own time, and this week they all decided to arrive together.

So many powerful moments that remind me why I love this work. It’s an honor to be welcomed into these sacred spaces and witness new life entering the world.

Happy birthday to each of these sweet babies and their amazing families 💛

I’m also beyond grateful for the support of and —your teamwork, strength, and dedication made it possible to show up fully for every birth this week. I couldn’t have done it without you.

Feeling tired, fulfilled, and so, so thankful.

Honored to stand beside this incredible mama—not just as her nurse midwife, but as her friend 🤍

I’ve had the privilege of caring for her through two pregnancies, and this time she achieved something truly powerful: her *third* vaginal birth after two cesareans (VBA2C)—after a long, arduous labor that she met with unwavering strength and ultimately triumphed through. (I’ll let her tell the full birth story 😉). Moments like this remind me why I love what I do.

For those who may not know, VBAC after two cesareans is absolutely possible and, for many, a safe option. Research shows that success rates for VBAC range from about 60–80%, and even after two cesareans, many women can still have successful vaginal births when supported appropriately. Uterine rupture remains rare, occurring in ~1% of cases.

That said, VBAC—especially after two cesareans—is not one-size-fits-all. A thoughtful review of your individual history, prior births, and overall health with your provider is essential to determine if you’re a good candidate. This is where shared decision-making matters most—making informed, collaborative choices that align with your values and safety.

Every birth story is unique—but this one is a beautiful reminder that informed choice, support, and trust in the body can lead to incredible outcomes.

So proud of you, mama 💫

Sometimes the best helpers come in the smallest packages 💕

After welcoming their new sibling into the world, these proud big siblings jumped right in to help me pack up the birth tub—giggles, teamwork, and lots of squishing included.

Home birth isn’t just about the moment a baby arrives… it’s about the whole family being part of the experience 🤍
Shameless plug, I also caught the little guy helping out 2.5 years ago!
