s offered a volleyball scholarship to Texas A&M University Kingsville, where I decided to study business. About two years ago a friend of mine and his Uncle, a very reputable business owner himself, introduced me to Rodan + Fields Dermatology. Months later it was reintroduced when my friend and his Uncle decided to move forward in R+F. After meeting for the second time and doing some research myself, I too decided to move forward in R+F and become my very own business owner. It was exciting to see how many people this product was helping, and to know that I had Dr. Rodan and Dr. Fields, the founders and creators of Proactiv, to back me up! Growing up my parents were always involved and supportive in everything that I decided to do. I was very fortunate that they were both successful business owners and were able to make their own schedule. Now that I am older and have a family of my own, I realize how important it is to be involved in your children’s life. When I started my R+F business part time, I was convinced that this career move was going to give me my finical freedom and allow me to spend more quality time with my family just as my parents did when I was younger. Boy was I right! I now am a full time consultant, making my own hours, spending more time with my kids, and still contributing to our monthly income!
