Something we’re truly proud of at Harmony Hospice Care. 💙

When almost your entire team has been with the agency for a year or longer (some from when we started), that says something.

It says stability.
It says commitment.
It says teamwork.
And most importantly, it says our staff believes in what we’re building together.

In hospice, our employees have choices about where they work. The fact that so many have chosen to stay with Harmony means a lot to us. We’re not perfect, but we’ve built a team that knows one another, supports one another, and shares the same mission: providing compassionate, quality care to our patients and families.

Our staff isn’t just part of Harmony Hospice Care — they ARE Harmony Hospice Care.

To our team: thank you for staying, growing, and continuing this journey with us. 💙

💙 Can I Still See My Doctor While on Hospice?

YES! 🙌 This is one of the questions we hear often.

Hospice doesn’t mean giving up the doctors you know and trust. It means adding an extra layer of care, comfort, and support for you and your family.

🎥 Listen as Hospice Nurse Sylvia clears up this common hospice misconception.

At Harmony Hospice Care, we believe families deserve answers, support, and compassionate care every step of the way. 💜

Our leadership brings decades of hands-on healthcare experience, including an RN with ICU experience and more than 10 years as a hospice nurse, alongside an EMT who spent more than 10 years serving patients in the Baptist Health System Emergency Room working alongside amazing healthcare professionals.

Our experience and knowledge:
We have stood at the bedside. We have heard the fear in families’ voices. We have witnessed firsthand the pain, uncertainty, and difficult decisions that can come with serious illness.

That experience is why Harmony exists.

When you or someone you love is facing a life-limiting illness, you do not have to face it alone. And you don’t have to face it with people who do not have the experience. Let our experienced and compassionate team help bring comfort, dignity, support, and peace during one of life’s most difficult seasons.

Let Harmony help. Call Harmony Hospice Care today 210-807-7484

Compassion. Experience. Dignity. Harmony.

As the summer comes to an end, we had the joy of celebrating our incredible Harmony Hospice Care family with a Back-to-School Ice Cream Bash! 🍦📚❤️

At Harmony Hospice Care, we believe caring for people starts with caring for our own team and the families who support them every day. Seeing the smiles, laughter, and excitement of our employees’ children reminds us why we do what we do—to make a difference for families, both at home and in our community.

To all of our students heading back to school, we pray this year is filled with wisdom, growth, kindness, courage, and new opportunities. May you always know your worth, work hard, dream big, and be a light to those around you.

May God watch over each child, protect them, guide their steps, and bless them with a successful and joyful school year.

From all of us at Harmony Hospice Care, we wish every student, teacher, and family a wonderful, safe, and blessed school year!

💙 Because family matters. Today, tomorrow, and always.

Your favorite hospice nurse, Sylvia, talks about one of the saddest things we see in hospice isn’t a lack of love—it’s a caregiver who simply can’t do it anymore.

Many spouses are elderly themselves and, as their loved one declines, they may no longer have the strength to turn them, change their briefs, or provide the care that’s needed. Sadly, when a patient is left in urine or without proper care, it can be considered neglect—even when it’s completely unintentional.

If you have a family member caring for a loved one on hospice, please don’t wait for them to ask for help. They probably won’t.

Show up. Bring a meal. Stay for an hour. Help with caregiving. Give them a chance to rest.

Sometimes the greatest gift you can give isn’t flowers—it’s your time.

If you or someone you love needs guidance, support, or hospice services, we’re here Kiki to help.

I’m just a hospice nurse from San Antonio, Texas, working in hospice with one simple mission: to bring awareness, educate, and help change the way people view hospice.

Too often, people believe hospice means giving up. The truth is, hospice is about choosing comfort, preserving dignity, and making the most of every moment with the people you love. It’s about adding life to days when days can no longer be added to life.

Through education, honest conversations, and real stories, I hope to help families understand what hospice truly is—and what it isn’t.

If I can help even one family make an informed decision without fear or misunderstanding, then I’m doing exactly what I was called to do. 💙
