For 65 years, Morningside Ministries has cared for older adults and their families with compassion, dignity and respect.

On September 11, 1961, we welcomed our first residents, who gathered by candlelight on their first evening as Hurricane Carla passed through Texas. From that stormy first night, Morningside has grown into a family of senior living communities serving older adults and their families across San Antonio and Boerne.

As we celebrate 65 years, we honor our legacy, embrace our future and celebrate the people who have made this story possible.

Today, we remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the courage of the first responders and countless others who answered the call to serve.

As we reflect on this solemn day, we pray for the families who carry the memory of loved ones lost and give thanks for the compassion, courage and strength shown in the days that followed.

May we always remember those we lost and the courage of those who served. 🇺🇸

As we celebrate 65 years of Morningside Ministries, we are grateful for the generations of dedicated people whose hard work, compassion, and commitment have helped us shape who we are today.

This Labor Day, we honor and remember our incredible team members passed and present, and thank them for making a difference in the lives of those we’ve serve every single day.

Our All-Campus Resident Meetings are a great opportunity to come together, stay informed, and keep the conversation going at Morningside at Menger Springs.

We love sharing updates about upcoming events, services, amenities, and everything happening around our community. Just as importantly, these meetings give our residents a chance to ask questions, share ideas, and stay connected with one another.

Words of Wisdom Wednesday- Remembering Dolly Parton

Today, we honor the incredible life and legacy of Dolly Parton (1946-2026)- a woman who touched many through her music, humor, kindness and generous spirit of giving.

Dolly gave us many examples of staying young at heart, treasuring friendships through the years, and to hold our heads up high looking for rainbows.
