About my homestead:
Every product I sell is hand-rendered, hand-mixed, and hand-poured with love and care. 💛

This whipped tallow cream is truly made with love, right in my kitchen, using 100% organic, grass-fed and finished beef suet from a local New Braunfels farm. I slow-render it (at least 3 times!) using the DRY method to keep all the good stuff in... like skin-loving vitamins A, D, E, K, and B12. Tallow is special because it closely mimics our skin’s natural oils (sebum), so it absorbs beautifully and works with your skin, not against it. Whether you're dealing with dry patches, oily skin, acne, eczema, scars, rashes, chapped lips, or just need a reliable daily moisturizer, this cream's got you covered. It's also naturally antibacterial and antimicrobial, so it’s great for sensitive and breakout-prone skin. Every jar is handmade in small batches with mostly tallow and just a touch of organic extras. Many of you have met our little family at markets over the past year, and so many of you followed along with us throughout this pregnancy. Manna Tallow has always been a true family business — every jar is made, poured, labeled, and packed by our little team.

And Sean is already getting acquainted with the family business. 🤍 Our Unscented Whipped Tallow has already made its way into his little skincare routine — from those tiny feet to between diaper changes.

We had 3 wholesale orders to deliver… and somewhere along the way, the contractions started. 😂🤰🏼📦

We loaded up the family and headed through the Hill Country to restock some of our favorite local retailers — Stahlman’s at Bear Creek, For Goodness Sake, and Camp Verde General Store & Restaurant. 🤍

There was beef jerky, homemade ice cream, Mary’s Tacos in Boerne (an absolute MUST on this route 🌮), a very disappointing NO Bear sighting 💔🐈… and Chad at Stahlman’s taking one look at me and asking:

“Are you in labor?” 😂

Apparently the man knew what was up. The contractions had started, but baby boy wasn’t quite ready to make his appearance yet. 👀

There’s something really special about these delivery days... our whole family piled into the car, driving through the Hill Country and delivering products we made with our own hands to businesses that have chosen to put Manna Tallow on their shelves.

And somehow… we got all THREE deliveries done. 🙌🏼

Little did we know, this would be our last wholesale delivery run as a family of four. 🥹🤍

Because the very next day… we had a whole other type of delivery. 👶🏼😂🤍

We are SO excited to officially be at Helotes H2O! 🥹
There is something incredibly special about seeing our little family business welcomed into another local business, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to serve even more of our San Antonio-area community.

A very special thank you to Lauren for being such a wonderful advocate for Manna Tallow. 🤍 It has truly been a pleasure getting to know her and working with her to bring our products to Helotes H2O. Her support and excitement for what we do have meant so much to us!

39 weeks preggo and it ain’t stopping us. 🤰🏼🤎

Batch after batch… we’re building up inventory so that when our baby boy decides it’s time to make his debut, Mama can slow down and soak up every second. 🥹

On this particular day, we made four different batches of tallow—but what this footage doesn’t show is everything happening just outside the frame.

The toddlers being toddlers. 😂
Being present for the little moments.
Prepping for our market.
Fulfilling online orders.
Labeling jars until well after midnight.
And somewhere in the middle of it all, this 39-week-pregnant mama squeezed in some MUCH-needed prenatal yoga and stretching because, whew… this baby is getting heavy. 😂🤰🏼

Oh, and did I mention we moved TWO WEEKS AGO? 😂 Not just our home—our entire business and production space came with us, too.

Small business life is rarely as peaceful as the little clips make it look. 🤎

Thankfully, I have a village.

I truly run Manna Tallow alongside my husband. You may not see him in front of the camera often, but he is very present behind the scenes. And when baby boy arrives, he’ll continue showing up at our weekly markets, keeping Manna present in our community while I’m home soaking up those first precious weeks.

And then there’s my wonderful mama, who helps wrangle toddlers and fills in the gaps with extra snuggles, care, patience, and love when there simply isn’t enough of me to go around.

I truly couldn’t do this without them.

When baby boy arrives, things around here will get a little quieter. The footage and weekly updates will slow down while I soak up newborn snuggles and focus on my family. 🥹

But Manna isn’t going anywhere.

My village and I have worked hard to keep the shelves full and make sure we’re prepared to continue serving you through this beautiful next season.

For now, we keep rendering.
We keep pouring.
We keep labeling.
We keep packing your orders.

And we wait for our sweet boy. 🤎

One of my favorite parts of owning a small business has nothing to do with making tallow. 🤍

It’s this.

Sitting down, pen in hand, and writing a little note to the person on the other side of each order.

I know I could have cards printed. I know it would be faster. But there’s something about handwriting a thank-you that feels different, because every single order really does mean something to our family.

You’re not just an order number that pops up on my screen.

You’re a real person who decided to trust something we make with our own hands, put it on your skin, share it with your family, or give it to someone you love. And I never want to lose sight of that.

So I write the letters. 💌

And when you’re a first-time customer, I usually tuck a little sample mini into your package too, because I love giving you a chance to discover something else from Manna Tallow. (Our Starter Kits are already made for trying several products, so I typically don’t add an additional sample to those.)

Maybe someday this business will grow to a point where handwriting every note gets harder.

But for as long as I can, I want there to be little reminders inside these boxes that real hands made it, real hands packed it, and a real family was grateful for your order. 🤎

🌿 It’s National Farmers Market Week! 🌿

And we couldn’t let the week go by without celebrating one of our absolute favorite markets to call home — Bulverde Market Days. 🤍

Twice a month, we get to pack up our little family business, load up the tallow, and head into the beautiful Texas Hill Country to set up alongside some of the most talented local makers, growers, and small businesses.

There’s something really special about Bulverde Market Days. It aligns so closely with what we believe in at Manna Tallow... supporting local, knowing the hands behind the things you buy, and choosing products that are thoughtfully created instead of mass produced.

These are people who create with their hands. Who pour their hearts into their businesses. Who know their customers by name. And who genuinely cheer one another on. 🥹

And the community that comes out to support us? Just as special. Friendly, loving, down-to-earth people who make every market feel less like “work” and more like gathering with friends.

Add in the gorgeous Texas Hill Country setting, and getting to set up here twice a month truly feels like a treat.

Most people see jars of tallow.They don't see the quiet mornings that come before them.

While my family is still asleep, I'm already up. The Bible is playing in the background, the tallow is slowly double boiling, and the house is still.

These are some of my favorite moments of the day.

I'm predominantly a stay-at-home mom, and I wouldn't trade that calling for anything. Being present with my children is one of the greatest blessings God has given me.

But these early mornings are sacred.

Before I'm making breakfast, answering little voices, or chasing tiny feet around the house, I get to spend time with my Heavenly Father. I get to reflect, pray, create, and dream.

This is where so many of the ideas behind Manna Tallow begin.

It's a reminder that while I love being a wife and mother with my whole heart, God also created me with gifts, passions, and creativity that deserve to be nurtured.

Ironically, protecting this quiet time makes me a more present wife and mom the rest of the day. My cup has already been filled before the day truly begins.

These aren't just the first steps in making our tallow.

They're the first moments that prepare my heart for everything that follows. 🤍
