🌱 Continuing to Learn. Continuing to Grow.
One of the things I value about being a therapist is that the learning never really stops.
I recently attended the in-person Using Sandtray and Expressive Arts in Play Therapy training presented by Marshall Lyles, LPC-S, LMFT-S, RPT-S.
It was wonderful to experience Marshall's teaching in person and learn from the depth of knowledge and experience he brings to sandtray, expressive arts, and play therapy. I especially appreciated the opportunity to think more deeply about how creative and expressive approaches can give clients additional ways to communicate and process experiences when words alone may not be enough.
As someone who works with children, teens, neurodivergent clients, and families, continuing to expand my play therapy and expressive-arts skills is an important part of my professional development.
And yes—I’m also a proud owner of Marshall Lyles and Linda Homeyer's Advanced Sandtray Therapy: Digging Deeper into Clinical Practice. 📚
I'm grateful for opportunities like this to keep learning, refining my clinical skills, and bringing that continued growth back into the work I do with clients.
