Safety Alert and Reminder about the dangers of handling fireworks. My thoughts are with this young man and his family. During my time with the fire department, in my role as a Fire Safety Specialist, I often spoke to schools and community groups about fire safety and prevention, including the hazards of playing with or setting off fireworks. This heartbreaking incident in Oceanside is yet another powerful reminder of those risks. Please share this message with your loved ones.
