For over 40 years, API has served San Diego with a 66‑bed inpatient psychiatric hospital offering a continuum of care from inpatient stabilization to three outpatient programs in San Diego, La Mesa, and El Cajon. Our Center for Mental Health and Addictive Disorders is an inter-connected network of affiliated treatment and service providers for both mental illness and addiction allowing clients to move through a continuum of care with ease regardless of acuity levels.
