The Den by Wolf & Lion Wolf & Lion is redefining wellness in San Diego with our new studio The Den and a community that thrives beyond four walls. Mind like a wolf, heart like a lion.

From intimate classes to creative pop-ups, we bring people together through movement, connection, and shared experience. We are a San Diego based community committed to creating unique pop-up wellness and yoga classes and events for people to stretch, not only their bodies, but also their minds, ideas, and hearts. Our goal is to provide classes and experiences that expand minds, stretch and move your body, and heal and balance the spirit. Sure we offer yoga classes, but our main focus is bringing rad people together to do rad sh*t. We love creating and collaborating with other businesses and individuals to bring the community classes and experiences that not only help you grow and expand, but also have everyone feeling seen, heard, and respected. We believe in authentic self-expression and embracing your weird-wild side. You don’t have to look like a yogi to practice yoga. We want you to be healthy and happy. Come see what we have to offer and join the pack.

To create more connection across our classes and instructors, we offer a word and pose of the month. Each month, one of our instructors selects a single pose to explore together… this month, Shannon

Pose: Mountain (Tadasana)
It looks like you’re just standing there, but Mountain is the blueprint for nearly every pose. Forward folds, warriors, backbends, inversions: they all borrow their alignment from Mountain. It’s stillness AND strength. Weather (thoughts, stress, emotion) passes over the peak, the mountain always stays.

Word: Grounding
Coming back to the present through something solid; the ground beneath you, your breath, your body. When we’re stressed, we live from the neck up. Grounding brings us back down, into the body, into the now.

Mountain pose is grounding in its most literal form.

Find it woven through all class styles this month.
