✨ Three questions that can help start the week with intention.

🥰 How am I actually feeling right now? (No censoring, no softening — just honest.)

🥑 What does my body + mind need most this week? (Not what "should" I need. What do I actually need?)

🫶 What can I let go of? (Permission to release what's taking up space.)

🔮 These questions set the tone for the whole week simply because they help you reflect on what matters.

🫖 I've been thinking about this a lot lately.

💜 I didn't start my own business because I had it figured out or because I was brave or because it was the right choice. I started it because my body rejected traditional work. A cancer diagnosis made that clear. My body rejected it. My brain rejected it. And so I made a choice that looked like opting out, like taking the easy way, like I just didn't want to go back to the office.

🐛 The financial uncertainty is real. I'm making different decisions with my money + time now. I don't know if this will ever pay off in the way I need it to. Rebuilding my credibility from nothing in a completely new field is slower than I hoped. My body doesn't charge to 100% anymore, + some mornings I wonder if I should have just stayed in that stable job, learned to manage the toll, accepted the burnout as the cost of security. Even in my great middle ages, I'm still figuring this out.

✨ But most days I wake up + I'm not broken. I'm not spending my energy recovering from work, or managing expectations I can't meet, or trying to shrink myself to fit into someone else's idea of what I should be. I indexed my life to physical + emotional wellness instead of financial wellness, + that's what structures my days now. I end my days tired sometimes, but not burned out. Uncertain sometimes, but not suffocating.

🥰 Some days I'm not sure it was worth it. And I'm learning to be okay with the not-knowing.

🫠 Old news: Progress doesn't feel like we all thought it would. It goes backwards, forwards, sideways, diagonal, + even spirals. To me, progress feels like the elevator in W***y Wonka's factory, taking me places I didn't expect.

❣️ But if you're showing up, choosing yourself at least some of the time, + following the playbook that works uniquely for you, that's what doing it right looks like.

🌿 Give yourself permission to trust what you're building, where you're headed, + what feels good to you, your body, + your soul. Growth + progress don't always feel good in the moment. Sometimes they're downright awkward AF.

It's intentional.
It's knowing where your energy goes + where it doesn't.
It's saying yes to what actually matters + no to what's just... extra.

💫 Some days I'm fully booked. Some days I'm selective about literally everything. Both are honest choices.

🫐 My go to banana berry smoothie:

3/4c milk of your choice
1 banana
1/2c strawberries
1/2c blueberries
2/3c plain yogurt
ice if desired
Blend til smooth

🔮 Adjust the milk, yogurt, + ice to fit whatever texture you're craving. Or some seeds, leafy greens, or daily supplements

💕 Real nourishment can be as simple as fruit + yogurt + a blender.

⭐ This is my morning. I get to choose.

☕ Some mornings I choose quiet + coffee before anyone else wakes up.

💤 Some mornings I choose to sleep in + skip the routine.

🏃‍♀️ Some mornings I choose to move first thing. Some I choose stillness.

⏳ Some mornings I choose to show up early. Some I choose to arrive late.

🌞 And some mornings, I don't have much choice in how the day starts. And that's okay too. I adjust as needed where I can.

💪 The point isn't what you're choosing. It's that it's your choice. Not what you think you should do. Not what worked last week. Not what someone else does.

💃 Your morning belongs to you. + so does the choice. What does your morning get to look like today? I'm going to start with some hydration.

⚡ Mental Health Awareness Month is here + I'm here to talk about energy. Your mental health is very much a part of your holistic wellness + not separate. And it's very much an energy type thing.

💕 When your mental energy is protected, supported, + understood, everything else gets easier. Your relationships feel lighter. Your body feels safer. Your capacity for work, joy, movement, rest just flows better.

☝ So this week, I'm breaking down 4 ways to protect + reclaim your mental energy (swipe through):

1️⃣ Boundaries: They're not selfish. It's necessary. Every time you say no to something that drains you, you're protecting your capacity.
2️⃣ Rest: It's maintenance. Mental energy depletes like physical energy. You need downtime to recover. Period.
3️⃣ Asking for help: Carrying everything alone is exhausting. Support such as therapy, trusted people, and coaching as examples, gives you back capacity you didn't know you had.
4️⃣ Knowing your patterns: When do you feel depleted? What triggers you? What helps you recover? This self-knowledge is powerful protection.

✨ I did a little experiment recently + set an intention to capture moments of joy I found in each day. Sometimes they were bigger moments, but often they were quite small, fairly ordinary, or silly.

😍Those stickers? They're for letters. Sending mail filled with stickers to people I love is one of my quiet joys.

💪 I'm a task-focused person by nature, usually planning the day in terms of action items. At the end of the day when I reflect, I do find moments of joy, but sometimes question how present I was. Lifting up our phones to record or snap isn't always portrayed as the most present approach, but when something made me smile, I tried to take a keepsake.

😩 As adults, it's easy to let the day run away with appointments, calls to make, errands to run, things we "should" do to better ourselves. But including joy, even in moments that seem mundane or mandatory, matters for holistic wellness. This photo set shows moments of intellect, physical strength, emotional connection + more.

🌱 Perhaps a tiny quest for the weekend: find a few moments of joy + capture them or be present in them somehow. And if you feel like sharing through words or images, I love celebrating your moments too.
