My horses and I work with women to help them overcome their toughest challenges and achieve their highest goals. There’s something so powerful about slowing down long enough to simply notice.

Today in Held by the Herd, we spent time observing the horses—what they were doing, how they were responding, what we noticed in their bodies… and then turning that same curiosity inward.

What do I notice in myself right now?

No fixing, no judgment, just awareness.

The horses are such incredible partners in this work because they invite us into the present moment in a way that can be hard to access on our own.

Grateful for the women who showed up today and for the beautiful space we created together. 💜

There’s something about being with a horse that brings you back to your body.

Our bodies carry so much more than just the physical things in life. Sometimes we think we’ve moved on because we’ve stopped talking about it. But our bodies still carry the story.

It can show up in the way we hold tension. The way we brace. The way we breathe. The way we respond before we’ve even had a chance to think.

Our emotional weight can cause us physical pain and even illness.

Sometimes healing doesn’t mean thinking harder or finding the right words. Sometimes we need to slow down enough to notice what our bodies have been trying to tell us.

Horses bring us into the present moment. They notice the subtle things that we’ve learned to overlook in ourselves. And through relationship, touch, movement, and simply being with them, they create the space for us to become aware of what we’ve been carrying. Often times they point it out for us. We just have to listen.

Join us Thursday mornings in September for an hour to slow down, connect with other moms, talk about the real stuff, and have a space that’s about you.

And just like that… it’s a wrap. 🤍

From horseback riding lessons to private clients, groups, and retreats, this has been such a beautiful season.

So much gratitude for the incredible people who make this work possible—from childcare to volunteers and barn help, and to every client who trusted this space and these experiences. I appreciate you.

But the biggest thank you goes to my partners, the horses. Without them, I’d probably be sitting behind a desk somewhere. Instead, I get to live a life that once felt like a dream—alongside these incredible horses who teach, support, and give so much every single day.

Thank you for a truly wonderful season. We’ll see you in the fall. ✨

Most people think they need more time. There are a million reasons… but what I see is that nothing changes when more time does appear.

Things change when you start using the time you already have differently. Even if it’s imperfect and uncomfortable. Even if it’s just one small step.

That’s where momentum actually starts.
