Dr. Bek Jarzombek, DC
(2)

Giddy Up Chiropractic's doctor, Dr. Bek, is an equestrian rider and Doctor of Chiropractic for horses, riders, dogs, cats, livestock, and exotic animals. She has been riding horses since she was 7 years old. The combination of her being a rider and chiropractor gives her work an elite level of expertise. She is known in the equestrian community for amplifying athletic performance, preventing injur

ies, and speeding up recovery time for two-legged and four-legged members of the team. Bek had her first personal experience with chiropractic after sustaining a significant horse-riding accident at the age of 14. She was thrown from her horse and severely injured. As a result, her health and athletic performance took a decline. After receiving consistent chiropractic care, her body healed and regained strength, speed, agility, and stamina. Due to her life being significantly changed by chiropractic, Dr. Bek has dedicated her professional career to this non-invasive wellness specialty for humans and animals. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) from Life Chiropractic College West and graduated with the highest levels of clinical and academic honors. In addition to her human licensure, she has been granted additional certification by the Animal Chiropractic Certification Commission (ACCC) of the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA); the world leader in animal chiropractic. This establishes that Dr. Bek has met specific standards of clinical competency within the chiropractic and veterinarian professions.

Overview of our practice 🐎🙌🏼

05/12/2026

The fly 🪰 reflex — formally known as the cervical (neck) reflex — is a primitive reflex horses use when they reach around to get a bug off their body.

In our practice, we use this reflex both diagnostically and therapeutically.

A healthy horse should be able to bend around to the left and right and “strike” toward the shoulder area.

Sometimes we see horses who cannot do this before an adjustment — and after restoring proper motion through chiropractic care, the reflex returns.

Some reasons the reflex can take time to restore could be past trauma, age, arthritis, compensation patterns, or shoeing factors that must be addressed over time.

The body gives us information.
The reflex tells a story.
And chiropractic helps restore communication through the nervous system.
