San Diego Blood Bank (SDBB) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit also operating as Southern California Blood Bank (So Cal Blood Bank). The Blood Bank connects diverse communities in Southern California to save and improve lives through blood and biotherapies. Each year SDBB collects more than 150,000 units of lifesaving blood that goes on to support the health and wellness of thousands of So Cal patients. SDBB's Cord Blood program serves as a public cord blood bank in California that provides lifesaving stem cells to help patients overcome life-threatening illnesses. Qualified cord blood donations are stored at SDBB and listed on the Be The Match Registry® through the National Marrow Donor Program® (NMDP), and are available for transplantation worldwide.

San Diego Blood Bank extends its sincere gratitude to the staff of San Diego Self Storagefor volunteering as a team during our 10th Annual Padres Summer Blood Drive.

Time is a valuable gift, and we are grateful to our amazing volunteers who enthusiastically show up and make a difference in our community. Over the past three years, the San Diego Self Storage team has contributed 425 volunteer hours at several of our signature blood drives.

A huge thank you to everyone who stepped up to support our lifesaving mission! Your dedication is invaluable, and we're honored to have your continued support.

This Memorial Day weekend, we pause to honor and remember the courageous service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

As we reflect on their legacy, we’re also grateful for the generosity of blood donors who help save lives in our community every day.

❌ All other donor centers will be closed in observance of Memorial Day.
