"We don't give up." ✊✨

In a world that can feel overwhelming, Christina Veselak, our latest guest in The Inclusive Minds Podcast finds hope in two places: our innate human refusal to quit and the fact that the tools for healing actually work. We’ve survived millennia of challenges, and we’re still here, thriving and overcoming. When you combine that natural resilience with the right biochemical support, "impossible" recovery becomes a reality.

Catch the final, inspiring moments of our conversation on the Inclusive Minds Podcast!

Trauma. Social services. Suicidal ideation. This 16-year-old was in the deepest kind of distress. 🛑

But 20 minutes after taking a specific amino acid, the "impossible" happened. She didn't just brighten up; she stepped back into her life.

Christina Veselak explains the "Trial" method for using amino acids to repair a brain that the system has almost given up on. This isn't just a story—it’s a blueprint for a new kind of recovery.

The secret to the "turnaround" is waiting for you in the latest episode.

Why are some people on 5, 6, or even 7 psychiatric medications and still struggling to feel "normal"?

Dr. Carolyn Ross and Christina Veselak uncover a hard truth in the latest episode of The Inclusive Minds Podcast: You can’t medicate a brain that isn't being fed. While many mental health drugs cause weight gain, the real issue is often a lack of education. Most people have never been told that what and when they eat is a biological requirement for their medication to even work.

We’re discussing the "Five-Star" food philosophy that helps people on the most intensive drug regimens finally feel grounded.

Symptoms like depression and anxiety start getting better when the brain actually has the fuel to function. Find out how.

The first question for mental health that almost no one is asking👇

"What am I eating?"

It sounds simple, but for those on the most psychiatric drugs, the answer is often the same: ultra-processed food and skipped meals. Christina Veselak, our wonderful guest on the latest episode of The Inclusive Minds Podcast breaks down why "filling your tummy" isn't the same as feeding your brain—and why it matters for your recovery.

The missing link in your mental health treatment is waiting in the latest episode.

"I’ve learned more from my patients than I ever did in medical school." — Christina Veselak

When patients "fail" traditional treatment, we often blame their willpower. But our latest guest in The Inclusive Minds Podcast looked closer and found a universal truth: you can't repair a life if you aren't repairing the brain.

The research is clear, but the conversation is missing. We’re breaking the silence on the nutrients your brain is literally screaming for.

Is your brain getting what it needs to function? Click the link to listen to the full episode below!

Christina Veselak joins me on The Inclusive Minds Podcast to share the discovery that changed her 30-year career: over-the-counter substances that can silence a craving in 20 minutes.

It’s not magic—it’s biochemistry. And it’s the secret the traditional treatment world isn't talking about.

If you think racism only looks like shouting slurs, you’re missing the 90% that’s invisible.

Dr. Camilla Nonterah, our latest guest in the podcast, reveals the crucial first step to creating genuinely safe spaces: acknowledging the entire spectrum of racial hostility.

We discuss why leaders can't just focus on the visible acts (like a patient refusing a Black doctor). Understanding the history, the constant low-level threats, and the fact that courage is required just to exist in these spaces is the non-negotiable prerequisite for equity.

My philosophy

I am an integrative medicine physician who works with people who want to improve their health and well-being and be free from food obsessions and body dissatisfaction. I have an online coaching program, The Anchor Program (TM) for people with food and body image issues. The Anchor Program is so named because being anchored is about being true to yourself and accessing your inner strength. No matter where you are in your personal journey, I will meet you and walk with you every step of the way.

What I believe:

I support an individual’s right to good health, no matter what their size.

I believe that we can best touch and help others through sharing our thoughts, our stories and our innermost desires.
